Turn digital-wealth gaps into working processes, client propositions and implementation roadmaps.

‍

I work with private banks, wealth managers and family offices on the cases their existing model does not fully cover, from an initial diagnostic through to operating-model design and ongoing advisory support.

‍

Diagnostic

A diagnostic is useful when the organisation knows there is a gap, but has not yet determined whether it requires a new process, a clearer boundary or a broader capability.
‍
Typical situations:
A client case falls outside the existing process.
Digital assets sit beyond the institution’s custody or current procedures.
Several teams are involved but no one clearly owns the end-to-end case.

What we work on:
Existing cases, current procedures, internal responsibilities, information gaps, service boundaries and external dependencies.

You receive:
Current-state assessment
Priority gaps
Recommendations
90-day roadmap

Typical format
3–4 weeks

Operating Model Build

From diagnosis to a working process that teams can actually use.

This engagement is for institutions that have identified a recurring need and want to turn it into a documented, repeatable way of working.

Typical situations:
The institution already handles cases, but largely case by case.
Several teams are involved without a clear end-to-end owner.
A client proposition exists, but the operating model behind it is incomplete.
External specialists or providers are involved without clearly defined handoffs.

What we work on:
- Responsibilities and decision rights
- Client and internal workflows
- Escalation routes
- Service boundaries
- Legal, tax, technical and regulated handoffs
- Partner or provider roles
- Testing against real or representative cases
- Internal adoption

What you receive:
Documented workflows
Decision rules
Responsibility model
Escalation framework
Partner and specialist model
Client journey
Internal guidance
Implementation roadmap

Typical format
8-12 weeks

Ongoing Advisory

Specialist continuity for cases, decisions and periodic review.

Not every new question justifies reopening a full project. Ongoing advisory gives the institution access to someone who already understands its operating model, boundaries and previous decisions.

Typical situations:
A new client case raises a question outside the standard path.
A provider or partner needs to be assessed.
The existing model needs periodic review.
Market practice or regulation changes.
Internal teams want specialist input before making a decision.

What it can include:
- Case reviews
- Targeted expert input
- Periodic process review
- Partner and provider discussions
- Workshops with internal teams
- Review of new client situations
- Relevant market and regulatory developments

What you receive:
Direct specialist access
Continuity across cases
Documented recommendations where required
Periodic review of the operating model
Input without restarting a project from zero

Typical format
Quarterly advisory retainer

WHEN TO BRING ME IN

‍

Usually before the organisation has decided what the solution should be.

A client case falls outside the process

The asset exists, but the current procedures do not fully cover ownership, access, authority or transfer.

The same exception keeps coming back

Cases are still treated individually even though the underlying problem is becoming repeatable.

Several teams are involved, but no one owns the whole chain

Wealth, legal, operations, compliance and external specialists each hold part of the answer.

A new proposition is being considered

The institution needs to decide what it should own, what should remain outside scope and what the service should actually look like.

HOW I WORK

Start with the case. Build only what the institution actually needs.

From ownership and access to authority, internal responsibility, specialist intervention and eventual transfer.

What this can produce

1. Understand the current reality

Existing cases, processes, teams, providers and what already works.

‍2. Find where the chain breaks
Information, authority, responsibility, service boundaries and handoffs.

‍3. Design the response
Workflows, decision rules, escalation and specialist involvement.

‍4. Test it in practice
Use real or representative cases, refine the model and prepare teams to use it.

The starting point is always to distinguish what the institution already handles well from what genuinely sits outside its current perimeter.

Flexible solutions

A flexible system designed to support real-world projects while staying clean and scalable.

Different institutions, different points of friction.

Private banks & wealth managers

Part of the client’s digital wealth sits outside the institution, leaving gaps in visibility, access or succession handling.
Family offices

Assets are spread across family members, structures and providers, while continuity may still depend on one person knowing how everything works.
Notarial & estate-planning practices

The estate includes digital assets, but ownership evidence, access information or transfer steps are incomplete or held elsewhere.
Digital asset companies

The product works while the client is active. The gaps appear at incapacity, death, recovery or transfer to heirs.

FAQs

A few practical questions that usually come up before we start.

  • Is this confidential?

Yes. Any client case discussed is anonymised by default, and a mutual NDA can be signed before any specifics are shared. Nothing about a client situation is used in public material without separate, explicit agreement.

  • Can we start with a single case?

Yes. A specific client or operating case is often the best starting point. It can remain a one-off piece of work, or reveal a broader process or service issue worth addressing.

  • What do you need from us to get started?

Usually, one concrete situation and access to the people who understand how it is handled today. We can then identify what already works, where the gaps are and whether anything needs to change.

  • How is pricing structured?

Diagnostics are typically fixed-fee. A full engagement is scoped and priced after the diagnostic, once the boundaries of the work are clear. Ongoing advisory runs on a monthly or quarterly basis.

  • What happens after the diagnostic if we decide not to continue?

Nothing is owed beyond the diagnostic itself. You keep the assessment and the recommendations, and you are free to act on them internally, with another provider, or not at all.

  • Who will actually work on the engagement?

I lead every engagement directly. When a case requires legal, tax or technical expertise, I bring in vetted specialists for that specific point, rather than handing the case to someone else.

  • Can you work with our existing providers and internal teams?

Yes. The objective is usually to make the existing ecosystem work better together, not to replace it. I can work across wealth, legal, compliance, operations and external specialists.

  • Do you replace our legal, tax or technical advisers?

No. I help structure the overall problem, define responsibilities and bring the right expertise into the process. Specialist legal, tax, custody or technical advice stays with the relevant professionals.

  • Where are you based, and do you work in French and English?

I work across France, Switzerland and the wider European market, in French and English, remotely and on-site depending on the engagement.

  • Have more questions?

    START A CONVERSATION

Start with the case your current process does not fully cover.

A concrete case is usually the fastest way to see whether the issue is exceptional, or whether it points to something the organisation should handle differently.
